Welcome to Bethlehem Students
Our goal in student ministry is to equip youth to possess a long-term, sustainable relationship with Jesus Christ. That means that we plan for our students now, but also for when they turn go to college, start a family, or begin a new job. We strive to provide environments where students feel cared for and where they can hear truth that is applicable to their lives.

How We Do Student Ministry
Practical Teaching:
If it’s not a sin to bore young people with the story of who God is, then it should be! There isn’t a greater story in all of history! There is adventure, amazing heroics, romance, purpose, failure, forgiveness, and hope all through the pages of the Bible. At BBC we believe that we find ourselves in God’s bigger story, and that our lives make sense, when we understand all that God has in mind for us as people. We also believe that every teaching moment we have with students should be practical. That is, that every teaching point should lead to action. Our faith shouldn’t be something we just know in our heads, but something we live with our lives.
Relational Small Groups:
Being taught what is true is only the start. The next step in growth comes when students are allowed to process and work out their thinking with other students in a small group. This allows them to be honest about their questions, doubts, struggles, and successes. It also encourages students to own their faith, rather than looking to adults to think for them. Our small groups are also a great place to get to know other students.
Community Impact:
Authentic Growth isn’t complete until it has extended out and made a difference in the world. With that in mind we offer multiple opportunities to impact our community and world, through summer projects (like Mission Serve) and community involvement.
